Pathways to Adult Learner Success (PALS) Coloquium – December 4, 2015

Join Metro Alliance/MnSCU colleagues at this inquiry-designed colloquium to share ideas and build on strategies that serve adult learners on December 4, 2015. Explore opportunities to focus on options and emerging innovations your campus wants to develop or expand, such as competence-based education alternatives, assessment of prior learning for credit, and individualized, interdisciplinary degree pathways.

Keynoter Dr. Nan Travers, director of Collegewide Academic Review at SUNY-Empire State, will ignite a day of creative conversation and collaboration drawing upon Empire State’s continued innovation with individualized and competence-based educational opportunities for adult learners.

Send an Adult Learner Success team from your campus including two or three faculty, administration, advising and other staff to plan and develop strategies for your institution.

  • Advance work: pre-conference survey and other preparation materials
  • Teamwork during the colloquium: strategize next steps.
