Dear CAO, CSAO, and Leadership Council Colleagues,
Please find a memo from me providing an update on our collective response and plans moving forward to address concurrent enrollment and the Higher Learning Commission’s recent clarification of Assumed Practices on faculty qualifications. The communication was a bit delayed due to the HLC announcement just last Thursday that they are creating an extension application process for programs that believe they will not be able to come into full compliance with the expectations by September 1, 2017.
In addition to my memo I have also included a templated letter for you to use in communicating with your concurrent enrollment partners, outlining the steps we are undertaking as a system and reiterating our valuing of their partnership and commitment to continuing and strengthening this work.
