The Call for Proposals for concurrent sessions is open for the 2015 CTE Works! Summit. This annual conference, sponsored jointly by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and the Minnesota Department of Education, is Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Sheraton West Hotel in Minnetonka.
Call for Proposals
The 2015 CTE Works! Summit is an excellent venue for established and emerging state and regional leaders to share their knowledge with Career Technical Education (CTE) educators, administrators, advisors and workforce partners. New professionals and graduate students in education, student services and in CTE programs are encourage to submit proposals for concurrent Workshops or short Gallery Walk sessions.
Desired Workshop Proposals (1 hour):
- Show originality and creativity
- Are relevant to conference theme and current issues impacting CTE
- Engage participants in a variety of ways, including an activity or hands-on learning
- Provide information and resources audience can apply to their work
Desired Gallery Walk Proposals (30 minutes):
- Provide a short overview of CTE best practices, resources, programs or initiatives
- Facilitate thoughtful discussion and generate creative ideas
