The Creative Commons Certificate is an in-depth course about Creative Commons (CC) licenses, open practices, and the ethos of the Commons. The course ten weeks long and is composed of readings, quizzes, discussions, and practical exercises to develop learners’ open skills.
Minnesota State will support up to ten seats for the CC Certificate for Librarians or the CC Certificate for Educators.
Creative Commons offers this Certificate two times during our FY23:
- September 2022: September 26 – December 4, 2022
- January 2023: Dates to be announced
The cost for the CC Certificate is $550. However, Minnesota State will reimburse librarians, departments, or institutions for up to 10 seats upon successful certificate completion. Please submit your interest. You will be notified if seats are available before you register.
