Additional DetailsÂ
Training expectationsÂ
In this training you’ll participate in: Â
- About 20 hours of in-person training.Â
- About 6 hours of asynchronous activities, including a pre-training module and drafting a HyFlex course design plan (at least 3 weeks of a course).Â
- Optionally, you will be invited to complete a training evaluation survey and participate in a focus group at the end of Fall 2024 for sharing experiences and teaching artifacts.Â
Application criteriaÂ
The training provides mileage, lodging, and catered meals for those outside the metro area and is limited to 20 participants. If you are within the metro area your catered meals and mileage are included in the training. The information you provide on this form will be used for selection of participants based on these criteria:Â
- Teaching HyFlex in Fall 2024 or near future.Â
- Opportunity for sharing the HyFlex training information with others at their campus.Â
TimelineÂ
Applications due March 30, 2024. Applicants will be notified early April of acceptance.Â
Additional considerationsÂ
To support opportunities across the system, no more than 2 participants will be selected from the same campus, aiming for balance in bargaining unit representation.
Waitlist information:Â
- First applied, first entry unless the institution already has 2 representatives. Â
- With more than 2 applications per institution, the decision goes to campus.Â
- If a spot opens, we aim to fill the spot with someone from the same bargaining unit.Â
