Students Invited to Present Undergraduate Research at the Capitol

Students presenting posters in the Minnesota capitol rotunda

Undergraduate students at Minnesota State colleges and universities are invited to submit an application to present their research atĀ PostersĀ atĀ St. PaulĀ 2026 (P@SP).

P@SP highlights the accomplishments of undergraduate students from across the system in research, scholarly, and creative activities. P@SP will return to the Capitol Rotunda in St. PaulĀ on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026. Note that this year the event will be held in the afternoon.Ā

TheĀ student poster presentations will showcase the importance of undergraduate research to the state and region. The event is open to the public and P@SP works with the system Government Relations office to make sure legislators are aware of the event. In previous years, several legislators came down to see theĀ postersĀ and talk with students from their districts. After the in-person event, abstracts andĀ postersĀ will be available through our online Symposium site for greater statewide exposure.Ā

How to apply

Submit an application online by Friday, January 16, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Students will be asked to create a Symposium account for submission. Only a title and abstract are needed initially fromĀ students, which can be updated before the event.

Applications will remain open until all spots are filled. Spots are limited and will be distributed across institutions.
