Building the Backbone of Your Course (Summer 2026)

NED: Academic Technologies

This is the first webinar in a three-part series on course design using the New Content Experience (NCE) in D2L Brightspace. The session focuses on how intentional course structure serves as a learning backbone that guides students, reduces cognitive load, and clearly communicates expectations.

We will examine why structure matters, explore design choices, identify common structural pitfalls, and learn practical strategies to improve wayfinding, equity, and the overall student learning experience. Attendees will receive actionable ideas to strengthen the backbone of their course.
