Topic: Equity and the Digital Divide: Student Access to Technology
Join us for a thoughtful conversation with the Rochester Community and Technical College community. They will briefly talk about their campus initiatives to provide all students with the technology they need for college success. They will then facilitate a brainstorming session to find out how other campuses are addressing equity and the digital divide with their students. Possible next steps will also be discussed. If this pandemic has taught us anything, it has shown us that achieving the Minnesota State Equity 2030 goals are vital for our students.
Koffee with Karen: OER Community Conversations are open forum conversations for all to share, discuss, and learn from colleagues in the Minnesota State OER community. Hosted by Karen Pikula, the OER Faculty Development Coordinator, Koffee with Karen conversations are virtual, hour-long meetings held twice per semester and feature a guest speaker on a topic of interest.
