OER Community Conversations: November

NED: OER

Topic

Host: Dave Anderson, St. Cloud Technical and Community College

Instructors commonly upload course content into D2L as Word or PDF documents. Unfortunately, these formats prove challenging to read and interact with on mobile devices, which many students use as a primary interface for their coursework. During our time together, we’ll explore how we can leverage the HTML editor in D2L (including the embedded templates) to engage students.

Open Educational Resource (OER) Community Conversations are open forum conversations for all to share, discuss, and learn from colleagues in the Minnesota State OER community. Hosted by Karen Pikula, the OER Faculty Development Coordinator, these conversations are virtual, hour-long meetings held twice per semester and feature a guest speaker on a topic of interest.
