OER Learning Circles – Spring 2020

OER (open educational resources) Learning Circles provide faculty, from across the system and from any discipline, the opportunity to collaborate with others committed to redesigning courses, creating ancillary materials, or authoring to help eliminate textbook costs for students. In addition to virtual weekly meetings, OER Learning Circles will utilize a D2L Brightspace course to support faculty and will take place over a ten-week period. The equivalent of .5 RCE is available to participating faculty.
Timeline
Applications due: February 7, 2020
Applicants notified: February 12, 2020
Ten virtual weekly meetings will be held between February 17 – May 1, 2020 at a time and date determined by participants. These will not require travel to attend.
