What are OER Learning Circles?
Collaborate with other Minnesota State faculty from across the system who are committed to redesigning courses around open educational resources (OER) and/or creating OER ancillary materials to help eliminate textbook costs for students.
In addition to virtual weekly meetings, OER Learning Circles will utilize a D2L Brightspace course to support faculty and will take place over a five-week period. The equivalent of .5 RCE is available to participating faculty.
Timeline
Applications due: April 16, 2021
Applicants notified by: April 23, 2021
Orientation week for cohort members: May 10 – 14, 2021
Weekly virtual meetings for cohort members: May 17 – June 20, 2021

- Complete the Online Application Form (Link) and upload Part B. SAO Participation Approval
