Enhance your teaching toolkit with this 3-week course focused on regular and substantive interaction (What is regular and substantive interaction?). You’ll apply equitable practices and technology tools to support student-instructor interaction. Whether you teach online, or you’d like to bring more interaction into your in-person courses, this course will help you support inclusion and enhance your teaching effectiveness.

Technical Skill Requirements
- Use a web browser
- Create, save, and upload documents
- Create and send an email using your Minnesota State account
- Navigate and use Microsoft 365 apps like Word, PowerPoint, and Forms
- Attend and participate in Zoom meetings
- Create, edit, caption, and share video or audio content with Kaltura Media Space tools
- Perform basic tasks associated with D2L Brightspace tools: Content, Quizzes, Surveys, Discussion, and Assignments
Suggested Audience
Faculty, Instructional Designers and Technologists, Faculty Developers/Trainers, and Concurrent Enrollment instructors. Administrators and Directors with interest in supporting faculty with regular and substantive interaction may also have interest in this course.
Estimated Time Commitment
Most participants are able to complete this course by committing 4-6 hours per week.

This course is hosted and facilitated using the D2L Brightspace instance of Minnesota State called, MnSite.
