As we have emerged from the most acute phase of the pandemic, we are seeing an even greater need to help students shore up their professional skills:
- meeting deadlines
- communicating effectively
- showing respect
- taking personal responsibility
- working in teams
Now, we have AI like ChatGPT to consider, and the question is: how do we ask students to practice professional behaviors and help them manage those behaviors themselves? A challenge!
Kelli will talk about when and why professional behaviors matter and how she’s going to approach this through a Professionalism Pact: a goal-setting document that will be reflected on throughout the semester. There will be time for conversation and idea sharing.
