Summer 2024 Network for Educational Development Opportunities Now Available

NED Themes

The Minnesota State Network for Educational Development (NED) is pleased to offer a series of short courses, long courses, and faculty learning communities on the NED Events Calendar for the Summer 2024 term.

These opportunities are designed by Minnesota State faculty and staff for Minnesota State faculty and staff and help build awareness, develop knowledge, skills, and abilities, and provide space for reflecting and revising.

New this Term: QM and OLC Partnership Workshops

Quality Matters: Creating Presence in Your Online Course – Participants in this QM facilitated workshop will learn how to create three types of presence in online courses: instructor, social, and cognitive. 

Online Learning Consortium: Facilitating Online Group Work – Participants in this self-paced workshop will dive deeper into the common reasons why groups fail, and provide effective strategies for designing, facilitating, and evaluating online group work.
