Consortium to Promote Minnesota as International Student Destination
The statewide consortium will advance collective international student recruitment strategies that increase the recognition of Minnesota educational institutions. The group, called Study Minnesota, is similar to models developed in other states that are among the most frequent destinations for international students. The attached letter provides information for institutions interested in becoming a consortium member. Initial members will be meeting on June 19 to discuss marketing strategies already underway, develop goals for the year ahead, and elect a Board of Directors. Please note that MnSCU college and university representatives may participate as Board members so long as they do not occupy a majority of total Board seats.
