SUBJECT:           Clarification of Accuplacer Intermediate Algebra Test

I sent a memorandum on Thursday, April 30, 2015 that provided recommendations from the Assessment for Course Placement Committee (ACPC) in regards to the Accuplacer Intermediate Algebra test. Since then, I have received a number of questions and feedback. This follow-up memorandum seeks to clarify and provide more detail about the test and recommendations.
