These Network for Educational Development (NED) Workshops are available at no cost through a partnership with Quality Matters (QM) and the Online Learning Consortium (OLC). The NED funds memberships to QM and OLC for every Minnesota State college and university.
Creating Presence in Your Online Course
Quality Matters Workshop
November 4 – December 1, 2024
Participants in this QM facilitated workshop will learn how to create three types of presence in online courses: instructor, social, and cognitive.
Facilitating Online Group Work
Online Learning Consortium Workshop
November 4 – December 1, 2024
Participants in this self-paced workshop will dive deeper into the common reasons why groups fail, and provide effective strategies for designing, facilitating, and evaluating online group work.
Each workshop includes synchronous and asynchronous experiences. The synchronous sessions are facilitated by a Minnesota State colleague to center equity-minded teaching and applying learning to your contexts.
