AI and Generational Expectations

In this webinar from the Minnesota Learning Commons, Matthew Clay will discuss the transformative power of generative artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on the implications for the upcoming generations and how this disruptive technology will reshape education. We will take some time to discuss the generational challenges, ethical considerations, privacy concerns, and the delicate balance between human intuition and algorithmic decision making. Lastly, we will focus on how AI will redefine the future of work and empower the next generation of leaders.
Matthew Clay is the Assistant CIO for Academic Technology at Minnesota State University, Mankato. In his 23 years at MSU, Mankato, he has held numerous roles within the academic technology team. He has also taught courses on technology integration for K-12 teachers. He is a self-defined gadgeteer and loves finding and exploring new technologies. His team is focused on instructional design, technology administration, learning space engineering, data science, human resource reporting, and video streaming. He is a co-director of the Center for Excellence and Innovation.
