This presentation will provide an overview of the work that has been supported, including OER Learning Circles, faculty development workshops, Z-degrees, library resources, grant initiatives, as well as the plans for future support. The recipients of the FY25 Z-Degree exploration, implementation, and expansion awards will also be announced.

5 Z-Degree Campuses in 50 minutes

March 5 @ 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

Ten Minnesota State colleges currently offer Z-degrees, with 15 more colleges and universities on the way. Hear stories from five Z-degree campuses.

5 Disciplines in 50 Minutes

March 7 @ 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

Learn about how five faculty are using OER within their discipline.

5 Practitioners in 50 minutes

March 4 @ 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

We all know of the impact OER has in the classroom, but there is important work going on outside of it as well. This session will have five different individuals within the Minnesota State system who are working with OER in different ways.

Beyond the PDF: 5 Tools for Contemporary OER

March 6 @ 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

Are you overwhelmed by number of technologies and tools available for creating and enhancing OER? This session introduces types of tools rather than focusing on specific tools, helping you focus on choosing tool types that meet your pedagogical need rather than getting lost in the tech details.
