Ask C-PLAN Webinar: CPL Academy for Faculty by Faculty

Ask C-PLAN: CPL Academy for Faculty by Faculty

April 10, 2025

2:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Take a tour of the newly revised and re-launched CPL Academy, a professional development resource. Developed by Minnesota State faculty, the CPL Academy provides a solid foundation in credit for prior learning principles and practices, for faculty, staff, and administrators working in various aspects of CPL processes.

Join your colleagues to learn more from faculty presenters, Susan Hilal, Metro State University and Tara Hammill, Rochester Community and Technical College, including how:

  1. The CPL Academy is organized on D2L in a range of subject areas to develop skills and knowledge in CPL evaluation.
  2. It can be used for professional development activities on campus, including orienting faculty to their role in evaluating credit for prior learning
  3. You can self-enroll and get started with the CPL Academy!

This will be an opportunity to share ideas on creating more CPL resources and tools for faculty and staff development. The webinar presentation will run from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with 30 minutes more for deeper discussion.
