Minnesota State educators have asked for more opportunities to collaborate and share best teaching and learning practices across our colleges and universities – and that’s what the Network for Educational Development (NED) is all about!
The NED Teaching and Learning Conference is an opportunity for Minnesota State educators to network, collaborate, and share their evidence-based experiences, and learn from each other as we explore the theme Promoting Equity through Data Practices.
The conference will feature:
- Keynote Ronald Ferguson
- Student Panel
- Plenary Session
- Concurrent Sessions
- Optional Pre-Conference Workshop
Location
The conference will be held both in-person at Minnesota State University Moorhead and online, providing flexibility for faculty to attend in a way that suits them best.
The in-person keynote and student panel will be streamed to online attendees, in addition to sessions that will be online-only.
Quiet space will be provided at the conference to accommodate in-person attendees who want to join online-only session. Attendees will need to bring their own headphones and laptop or mobile device to access these sessions. Sessions will not be recorded.
Pre-Conference Workshop
AI in Education: From Faculty Tools to Campus-Wide Implementation
Sample how faculty are using AI to promote student learning and increase digital access. Examine one campus model to collaboratively develop equitable AI guidelines.
The option to join this interactive pre-conference workshop, hosted by faculty from St. Cloud State University, is available for in-person attendees. The workshop will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on September 24, the day before the conference begins.
