ASA Fall Leadership Conference

This annual conference serves as an opportunity for ASA administrators across the system to come together to learn, network, and to share innovative approaches to leading for change.
The theme for this year’s conference is Standing Together: Our Minnesota State.
Minnesota State faculty and staff are invited to register and submit a session proposal for the 2025 ASA Fall Leadership Conference. Nominations are also being accepted for the ASA Leadership Awards.

Call for Proposals
In alignment with the systemwide work we engage in, session proposals can be related to, but not limited to, any of the following topics:
- Dual Enrollment
- Innovative Collaborations
- Change Leadership
- Emerging Best Practices – Student Affairs
- Emerging Best Practices – Academic Affairs
- Student Success
Submission Dates and Guidelines
Presenters need to be available to present in-person for any of the conference dates. Concurrent sessions will be scheduled for 45-75 minutes. Presenters are encouraged to offer sessions which maximize opportunities for community-building, discussion, and collaboration.
ASA Leadership Awards: Submit a Nomination
We welcome nominations for the ASA Leadership Awards that will honor and recognize excellence in the following award categories:
- Innovative Partnering and Collaboration Award
- Innovative Student Affairs Program Award
- Excellence in Curriculum Programming Award
- Innovation in Global Education Award
- Outstanding Academic and Student Affairs Administrator Award
- Excellence in Equity Innovation Award
Nominations may be submitted by any member of the college or university community, including advisory boards or committees.
Nomination information should address the selection criteria for each award. Nominations must be submitted no later than September 30, 2025.
All nominees and awards will be announced during the ASA Fall Leadership Conference banquet on October 30th.
