November 20, 2025
3:00 until 4:15 p.m.
Join colleagues from across the state at the November 20 Community of Practice gathering, hosted by the Minnesota Inclusive Higher Education Consortium (MIHEC).
The presentation will unveil a new resource resulting from a collaboration between the Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities (FCSUA) and Think College. The resource is designed to increase opportunities for— and support of —students with intellectual disabilities in career and technical education (CTE).
Christian Zimmerman will guide participants through a step-by-step process to provide ideas on how it can be integrated into existing Comprehensive Transition Programs (CTP) or to initiate a CTP on a CTE campus. Zimmerman is a national expert from the FCSUA and was instrumental in crafting the step-by-step resource. He is part of the Florida leadership team expanding inclusive higher education across the state.
