CC Certificate for Librarians – Spring Deadline

Creative Commons

The Creative Commons Certificate is an in-depth course about CC licenses, open practices and the ethos of the Commons. The course is composed of readings, quizzes, discussions and practical exercises to develop learners’ open skills.

Minnesota State system office will support up to ten seats for the CC Certificate for Librarians tract of the Creative Commons Certification cohort.

The spring 2020 cohort runs from January 13 – March 22, 2020.

  • The cost for the CC Certificate for Librarians is $500. However, Minnesota State will reimburse librarians, departments, or institutions for up to 10 librarians upon successful certificate completion. To qualify for reimbursement, please contact Tim Anderson, tim.anderson@minnstate.edu, to check how many librarian spots are still available.
  • Once available seat(s) are confirmed by Tim, librarians can then follow this link to register. Registration deadline is January 6, 2020.
