Faculty Forums Underway—In response to Chancellor Rosenstone’s February 13, 2012 letter to all faculty, campuses have begun to hold all-faculty conversations on topics at the heart of the system’s Strategic Framework: signature learning experiences, learning outcome measures, and collaboration among faculty and programs across the system. By the end of the semester, a website will be available for sharing the outcomes of these conversations. So far, campuses are reporting that the conversations are honest and—for the most part—energizing. One comment reflected the feelings of many: “By the end of the day my head was spinning with all of the good ideas that were being shared. Great day.
