Central Lakes College—Presidential Recognition for Central Lakes, One of Nation’s top Colleges for Community Service. Grants to double international student enrollment. For the fourth straight year Central Lakes College has been placed on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, which recognizes commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement. The Corporation for National and Community Service, which administers the annual Honor Roll award, listed 513 colleges and universities on its 2011 Honor Roll. CLC is one of just five Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system two-year colleges recognized and one of 14 state institutions on the list.
