Pathways to Success: Serving Non−Traditional Students in Higher Education

Metropolitan State University is pleased to invite you to the Pathways to Success: Serving Non-Traditional Students in Higher Education conference scheduled on April 17, 2013 (8:00a.m. – 3:00p.m.).

Eighteen higher education professionals have developed presentations to discuss best practices and emerging trends for serving the non-traditional student.  You will have a choice of attending four presentations based on your interests.  Click here for a list of presenters and a summary of their sessions.

State Demographer, Susan Bower, will start the day by presenting Population Trends in the 21st Century: How Is Minnesota Changing?  Bower will provide data on the increasing diversity of the state and the Twin Cities region, with a special emphasis on the growing Latino population. She will also cover recent changes in aging, poverty, unemployment and educational attainment in Minnesota and discuss the implications of these trends.
