Announcement: Associate Career Technical Education Director Opening in Minnesota

Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides administration, leadership, planning, accountability, evaluation and project management to the System Office and institutions, as it relates to the management, development and implementation of policy and processes related to all aspects of the 2006 Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act (Perkins IV). The Associate Director of CTE develops, implements and evaluates systems for planning, reporting, evaluating and monitoring local consortium Perkins activities and budgets, provides technical assistance to local consortia of colleges and school districts, and provides guidance and recommendations for problem resolution. The Associate Director fosters an environment conducive to program quality and collaboration; high quality professional development; innovation and continuous improvement in CTE programs; and an appreciation for ethnic, cultural and social diversity.
