Colleagues
We are very proud of the work that has been done across the system to better serve our students who are current and former service members. With the pending conclusion of the federal grant and the retirement of Steve Frantz, we have received a number of questions about the continuation of services. We are pleased to announce that Gina Sobania will continue to assist campuses on issues regarding veterans and current service members, and she will be the central point of contact for the system’s military and veterans-serving partners. Gina will directly report to the new Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Dr. Toyia Younger.
We are looking forward to continuing and even expanding our commitment to the close relationships developed with the military, and our state and federal partners, and we look forward to assisting campuses address the needs of these students.
