The recently submitted Legislative Report on World Language Equivalencies is posted for information.
The report responds to the 2014 legislative requirement for MnSCU faculty to determine credit and course equivalencies for world language proficiency certificates and seals earned by K-12 students. The report represents the work of a drafting team consisting of MnSCU faculty and deans, consultation with the Minnesota Department of Education and the University of Minnesota, and significant input from MnSCU world language faculty and administration that took part in a day-long convening in October 2014.
