Faculty Workload Management Application Released

The Faculty Assignment Management Automation (FAMA) project will provide an automated process to manage faculty assignments by leveraging course schedule details to provide information for accurate and prompt payment to faculty.   Various manual processes are currently being used to collect information which could potentially result in error or delays in payment.

The FAMA project will provide greater efficiencies and system-wide consistency in processes, with an end result of improved accuracy and overall cost savings to our system. The Faculty Workload Management application is a new ISRS application that will be utilized by Academic and Student Affairs, Business Office, Institutional Research, Human Resources, and numerous other institutional areas to review instructor workload details, approve cost centers and other relevant assignment information, and to approve faculty workload for release to Human Resources for payment.

This is a phased project, with a number of releases and deliverables. To help you keep up-to-date on this project please subscribe to the FAMA listserv. The FAMA Listserv is used to send project updates and to include all stakeholders in discussions regarding the project.
