MN 2015 IGNITE AWARDS – Nominations Now Open

Did you develop a bright idea for using D2L Brightspace to enhance your students’ learning experience? Or did your team collaborate on a project to address a student, faculty, or organizational need?

If so, we want to hear from you!

Please nominate yourself (or your team) for the second annual MN 2015 Ignite Awards.

The MN Ignite Awards, given out at the annual MN Ignite Regional Conference, recognize educators or those in education who have used D2L Brightspace to deliver learning experiences that are innovative, collaborative, or have made an extraordinary impact on learning outcomes.


Nomination Deadline: March 27, 2015

Award nominations are open to all Minnesota organizations using the D2L Brightspace platform (including faculty, staff, and administrators). Nominations can be submitted at the course, program, or organizational level. They can be submitted by faculty, technical staff, or administrators.

Award Categories (One awardee per category)

  • Innovation – Given to organizations or individuals who demonstrate exceptionally creative methods or technologies to address important student needs
  • Collaboration – Given to organizations or individuals who demonstrate exceptionally creative collaboration within a course, department, institution/school, or system of institutions
  • Impact – Given to organizations or individuals who through their work, construct or reflect an extraordinary impact on teaching and learning or other desired outcome
