The CTE WORKS! Summit is a ONE DAY conference (November 2, 2017) sponsored jointly by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and Minnesota Department of Education.
Participants and presenters come from colleges and universities, high schools, workforce, local business and industry partners, and local communities to convene once a year and share best practices for helping every student meet community and workforce needs. The CTE WORKS! Summit will be held November 2, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza AiRE in Bloomington, MN.
Call for proposals
Each proposal session is 40-55 minutes in length. Your proposal should:
- Show originality and creativity
- Be relevant to the Summit theme and current issues impacting Career and Technical Education
- Engage participants in a variety of ways, including an activity or hands-on learning
- Provide information and resources audience can apply to their work
Proposals should fit into one of the following strands:
- Career & College Readiness
- Employer Engagement & Workforce Development
- Legislation, Policies & Accountability
- Partnerships
- Teaching & Learning Strategies
- Career & College Readiness
- Employer Engagement & Workforce Development
- Legislation, Policies & Accountability
- Partnerships
