Contract ratification bill moving through the Senate
The Senate State Government Finance and Policy and Elections Committee took up SF 3154 yesterday afternoon. The bill ratifies labor contracts and compensation plans for state employees, including AFSCME, MAPE, Middle Management Association (MMA), Inter Faculty Organization (IFO), Commissioner’s Plan and the Managerial Plan. The contracts and plans are for the FY2018-2019 biennium and are effective retroactively to July 1, 2017. Further detail about the contracts and plans can be found here.
The bill passed and was referred to the Senate Finance Committee, where it is scheduled to be heard Thursday morning at 8:30. There is currently no companion bill in the House.
