2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
World Education Services will be providing free training on their Gateway program, which assesses the educational credentials of individuals who have been displaced due to adverse circumstances in their country of education and have limited proof of academic achievements.
A WES Gateway Program credential evaluation report can help eligible individuals continue education, become licensed in their field, or take the next step in their career in the U.S. The program is available to individuals educated in Afghanistan, Eritrea, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Ukraine, and Venezuela who meet program requirements.
Audience
This training is for new Gateway referral partners, Gateway referral partners with new staff, admissions and advising departments, and other referral partners who would like a refresher on Gateway. Please feel free to share with colleagues and your network, especially those supporting Afghan refugees.
Schedule
The session will have two parts:
- The first 30 minutes will provide a credential evaluation overview and synopsis of the Gateway Program.
- Audience: All audiences mentioned above.
- The following 60 minutes will cover the technical aspects of using the Gateway referral portal.
- Audience: Staff who will screen and work with clients to complete the Gateway application.
Register
Please register to join the training. In addition, if you have colleagues who would benefit from attending, especially those involved in supporting Afghan refugees, please forward the Zoom invitation to them.
