2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Please join Minnesota State Credit for Prior Learning Assessment Network (C-PLAN) for an overview on the newest Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) coding and transcripting recommendations, followed by a discussion period.
These new coding and transcripting recommendations were created by an inter-disciplinary taskforce of Minnesota State system office and campus subject matter experts, who collaborated to evaluate existing practices and provide suggestions for streamlining and modifying existing codes across various databases.
The aim of the recommendations are to:
- increase consistency and transparency of CPL codes.
- facilitate easier transfer for students with external CPL.
- improve data collection of CPL impacts on persistence and completion.
We will also dive into how, starting in 2023, these recommendations are part of broader CPL policy and procedure review at Minnesota State. Don’t miss out on this webinar and a chance to offer suggestions for changes to better serve students!
