February 16, 2023
8:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
with optional lunch and chat session starting at 12:35 p.m.
This virtual symposium is no cost to attend. All sessions will be over Zoom, link provided upon registration.
There is still time to register for this first live, virtual Dev Ed/ABE Symposium on Developmental Education and Adult Basic Education (ABE) partnerships (a P-20 and higher ed collaboration). This Symposium will provide statewide practitioners a chance to exchange ideas about enhancing, expanding, or starting a Dev Ed and ABE partnership. Even as the future direction of Dev Ed is under discussion, ABE partnerships with Minnesota State colleges may be more important than ever in terms of working with first-year, at-risk students, addressing the Equity 2030 goal.
Agenda
Who is the Symposium For?
This symposium is well suited for ABE instructors, college faculty, counselors, navigators, deans and college administrators, ABE program managers and regional directors, and anyone charged with achieving equity goals, and those measuring Dev Ed student outcomes or responsible for managing Dev Ed programs.
