OER Events for Librarians

OER and Affordability Off-Roadshow

September 27 and 29, 2023 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

This fall, librarians can attend the Association of College and Research Libraries’ (ACRL) virtual two-part OER and Affordability Off-Roadshow.

Targeted specifically for Minnesota, learn the basics of OER and how to include your library in affordability initiatives on your campus. Come away with strategies for supporting and advancing affordable resource use.

Due to generous funding from Minnesota State Educational Development and Technology, registration is free, but librarians from Minnesota State have priority.

Minnesota State librarians, please register for each session separately by September 15, 2023.

OER Librarians Community of Practice

October 10, 2023 | January 18, 2024 | April 10, 2024
3:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Minnesota State librarians are invited to discuss with colleagues about OER basics and planned actions to support no-cost classes for the 2023-24 academic year. We will share concerns and best practices as we create a community to support efforts to make our institutions more affordable.

Register for each Community of Practice separately.
