Overview
Dual enrollment career pathways are structured, stackable sequences of academic and technical coursework aligned to high-demand industries. These pathways enable learners to progress from secondary education through postsecondary credentials and into family-sustaining careers.
Grounded in nationally developed frameworks, effective pathways integrate rigorous academics, work-based learning, and comprehensive student supports to ensure equitable access and successful transitions, blurring the lines between secondary education, postsecondary education, and career.
Funding Opportunity
Minnesota State colleges and universities may request funding to develop, expand, improve, or implement pathways that:
- enable high school students, particularly students who are currently underserved, to enroll in courses aligned to a degree program
- connect to high-demand, high-wage, and community-identified career fields
- reduce barriers to postsecondary access and completion
Award
This opportunity will provide an award of up to $70,000 in funding to two or more selected Minnesota State colleges and universities.
