An invite-only Pre-Conference opportunity will be held Tuesday, October 27.
This annual conference serves as an opportunity for ASA administrators across the Minnesota State system to come together to learn, network, and to share innovative approaches to leading for change.
Theme
One System, Many Voices, Stronger Together: From Disruptions to Opportunities
Rapid technological, demographic, and political changes are reshaping the future of Minnesota State and creating a pivotal moment to reimagine how the system serves students, communities, and the state. Success will depend on data-informed decision-making, transparent governance, leadership development, and a renewed commitment to “systemness” that enables every institution to thrive while meeting Minnesota’s evolving educational and workforce needs.
This year’s conference will highlight leadership development to equip current and emerging leaders with the knowledge, skills, and strategic mindset needed to navigate complexity, foster collaboration, and lead transformational change. Through interactive dialogue and forward-thinking strategies, attendees will explore the challenges and transformative possibilities facing Minnesota gain practical insights to advance their institutions and the Minnesota State system.
Invited conference sessions will focus on strategic topics for the system including AI readiness; financial sustainability; enrollment; change management; Equity 2030; collective bargaining; and legislative updates.
ASA Leadership Awards
We will also hold the annual ASA Leadership Awards Dinner on October 29, dinner sponsored by the Academic and Student Affairs division. More details coming soon.

There is no fee for the conference other than lodging and meals.
