Help Shape the Minnesota State Approach to AI: Take the Faculty Survey

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing higher education, and faculty perspectives are essential as Minnesota State considers how best to support teaching and learning in this evolving landscape.

The Minnesota State AI Committee is inviting Minnesota State faculty to complete a short, 12-question survey about Generative AI. Whether you actively use AI in your courses, are exploring its potential, have concerns about its impact, or have chosen not to use it, we want to hear from you.

The survey asks about topics such as:

  • Professional development and training needs
  • Access to AI tools and support
  • Ethical questions and concerns
  • Current and potential uses of AI in teaching and learning

The committee includes representatives from the system office and faculty and staff from across Minnesota State. Survey responses will help inform future conversations about guidance, resources, professional learning opportunities, and other AI-related support for faculty.

A wide range of perspectives is critical to this work. The more voices represented, the better we can understand the opportunities, challenges, and questions faculty are navigating.

Take a few minutes to complete the Faculty AI Needs Analysis Survey by December 1, 2026. Your feedback will help shape future AI planning and support across Minnesota State.
