Accessibility Webinars

Topic: DIY Digital Accessibility: Building the Foundation for Accessible Course Content at the University of Maryland

Recorded Presenter: Sue Johnson, Instructional Designer

UMD’s commitment to creating and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive educational environment for people of all abilities means that creators of web-based information must have the skills and abilities necessary to ensure it is accessible to all students. Learn how UMD is helping faculty become accessibility DIY’ers with their own course content.

Additional information available at the DIY Digital Accessibility breakout session description at the AHG 2018 conference archives.

These webinars will be a mix of recorded sessions from the Accessing Higher Ground 2018 and 2019 full conference and local accessibility experts in the Minnesota State system. Each webinar will focus on a topic and will be followed by facilitated dialogue. These will not be recorded due to licensing provisions.
