Academic Continuity Plans

To support those on your campus who are working to develop alternate delivery modes using academic technologies available at no additional cost through Minnesota State (D2L Brightspace, Kaltura MediaSpace, Zoom, Office 365), we want to share some system office resources we are making available to you and your campuses.

Find your campus webpage and stay informed with updates from Minnesota State.

This page provides some quick how-to videos and step-by-step instructions to help you perform some common tasks as you explore alternate modes of delivery for your course.

Drop In Sessions

Staff from Minnesota State have scheduled Drop In Sessions (see event times below) via Zoom to assist any faculty who may need assistance using the available educational technologies. General schedule is 9:00-11:00 am and 1:00 – 3:00 pm

One-on-One Sessions

If you require one-on-one assistance, please reserve time with a staff member to work one-on-one via Zoom.

Accessibility Webinar – Making Websites Usable, Not Just Accessible Part 1

January 29 @ 3:00 PM - 4:15 PM

Accessibility Webinars

RSVP for Part 2 on February 12, 2020! >>>

Topic: Making Websites Usable, Not Just Accessible Part 1

Recorded Presenter: Karen Hawkins, Senior Experience Designer, Publicis.Sapient

Almost anyone today can make a website accessible. But that doesn’t mean that people using assistive technologies can USE them! I aim to change that. As a user experience professional, I will walk the audience through more accessible AND usable implementations of common web components and flows.

Additional information available at the Making Websites Usable, Not Just Accessible Part 1 breakout session description at the AHG 2018 conference archives

These webinars will be a mix of recorded sessions from the Accessing Higher Ground 2018 and 2019 full conference and local accessibility experts in the Minnesota State system. Each webinar will focus on a topic and will be followed by facilitated dialogue. These will not be recorded due to licensing provisions.
