Conversations with Colleagues: February 2025

February 25 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Free
Speech Bubbles

February Topic

Our main focus is rightly on our students. But the people doing the work of teaching matter, and there is an important overlap between what’s best for our students and what’s best for faculty.

Join us for a conversation about supporting new(ish) faculty, where we will share examples of multi-faceted initiatives at Minneapolis College to support new(ish) faculty. We also welcome your ideas and strategies so we can all learn from and with one another!

Hosts: Miki Huntington and Kristine Gyolai, Minneapolis College

Conversations with Colleagues is a platform for colleagues across Minnesota State to gather remotely to share ideas and bring questions (along with your lunch). These gatherings are held on the 4th Tuesday of every other month. Conversations with Colleagues is hosted by faculty and staff from the Minnesota State Educational Development Committee.

Join for an opportunity to engage in rich conversation in both small and large groups and networking with colleagues across the state! We have amazing innovations and work being done across the state and the goal of Conversations with Colleagues is to foster a network of support for faculty and staff across Minnesota State.

RSVP Required

Use the RSVP tool below to register. In addition to Minnesota State faculty and staff, Concurrent Enrollment instructors are also welcome to join.
