NED + Math Pathways

The NED has partnered with Math Pathways staff to offer educational development opportunities tailored to support Minnesota State mathematics and statistics faculty. View the flyer.

Description

This short course is intended for mathematics and statistics faculty who will be designing and offering corequisite support courses on their campuses for the first time. The course will emphasize the details of bringing corequisite courses from an idea to full scale implementation. In this course, colleagues who have developed corequisites will provide their insights and experiences and participants will take lessons learned and apply them to their institutions. Join us for a collaborative experience in learning what it takes to successfully launch corequisite courses suited to the needs of your students.

Audience & Compensation

This learning community is intended for Minnesota State math faculty who are currently developing or planning to develop a mathematics corequisite course. The Math Pathways grant will pay the first 25 Minnesota State mathematics faculty participants to register a stipend of $500 (including fringe) for successful completion of the short course in spring 2025.

Outcomes
