The NED was established to provide educational development opportunities that are designed by Minnesota State faculty and staff for Minnesota State faculty and staff. These opportunities help build awareness, develop knowledge, skills, and abilities, and provide space for reflecting and revising.

Fall OER Learning Circles (Applications Due)

OER Learning Circles
OER (Open Educational Resources) Learning Circles provide faculty, from across the system and from any discipline, the opportunity to collaborate with others committed to redesigning courses and/or creating materials to eliminate textbook costs for students. In addition to virtual weekly meetings, OER Learning Circles will utilize a D2L Brightspace course to support faculty and will take place over a ten-week period. The equivalent of .5 RCE is available to participating faculty.
Weekly meetings will be held 9/30/2019 – 12/9/2019.

OER Learning Circle Leaders
For faculty who have already participated in an OER Learning Circle, and want to continue bringing OER to their campus, consider becoming an OER Learning Circle Leader.
