These opportunities help build awareness, develop knowledge, skills, and abilities, and provide space for reflecting and revising.

NED Partnership: Accessibility Core Competencies – IAAP Cohort (Fall 2025)
What’s this about?
As a Minnesota State faculty or staff member, you get a free membership to the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP). This includes access to the Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) prep course.
You don’t need to take the CPACC exam to benefit from this course. It’s a great way to build your understanding of accessibility and learn practical concepts that help everyone.
Join a supportive learning group! This cohort will meet monthly to discuss the course, share ideas, and take action together.
Outcomes
By the end of this cohort, you’ll be able to:
- Talk about disabilities, challenges, and assistive technologies.
- Recognize accessibility and universal design practices.
- Reflect on accessibility standards, laws, and strategies.
- Get ready to take a CPACC practice exam.
Schedule
We will meet four times on Zoom for discussion and collaboration. Each meeting is one hour. Find all the meeting details in our MnSite D2L Brightspace course.
