What We Can Learn from Generation Z

Join Kelli Hallsten Erickson to learn more about Generation Z. Born between 1995 and 2012, this generation has a radically different mindset from previous generations, and we must take opportunities to learn more about them. In this session, participants will explore how this generation acquired their current mindset and how that applies to Generation Z attitudes towards work. After looking at the research, we’ll all discuss what this might mean for our teaching practices.

Open Educational Resource (OER) Community Conversations are open forum conversations for all to share, discuss, and learn from colleagues in the Minnesota State OER community. Hosted by Karen Pikula, the OER Faculty Development Coordinator, these conversations are virtual, hour-long meetings held twice per semester and feature a guest speaker on a topic of interest.
