OER Community Conversations: October

Description
In this exciting online session, Dr. Mary Lebens from Minneapolis College will demonstrate two virtual field trip apps she developed to teach information technology and business concepts. Faculty can use these OER apps in their own classes.
These virtual experiences increase student engagement and offer an innovative solution to common barriers in traditional field trips, such as cost, transportation, and childcare concerns.
Dr. Lebens will demonstrate how to use Lumi, a free tool based on H5P and HTML5 technology, to develop immersive online OER lessons for your courses. Join her as she showcases these cutting-edge tools that are reshaping the landscape of distance education.
