Out from the Shadows Series: Trauma

Minnesota State Office of Equity and Inclusion, Minnesota State Educational Innovations, and Minneapolis College present the Out from the Shadows Series.
Out from the Shadows of Minneapolis: Power, Pride, and Perseverance at a Northern Community College is an open anthology of stories and memoirs written by students, staff, and faculty from Minneapolis College. They detail the struggles and perseverance of underrepresented communities.
Administrators are invited to attend the second in a four part professional development series inspired by Out from the Shadows, an anthology released at the Spring Academic and Student Affairs Equity and Inclusion Leadership Conference. Each online session is standalone and will focus on a different theme based around one or more stories from the anthology.
November 22 Theme: Trauma
This workshop will feature:
- Student writers sharing their stories of power, pride, and perseverance
- Expert-led strategies addressing trauma
